Description
The Department of Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) intends to award on a sole source basis, under Simplified Acquisition Procedures, a firm fixed price award to Council of Energy Resource Tribes, 3545 South Tamarac Drive, Suite 320, Denver Coloardo 80237. Proposed award will provide sponsorship for the Indian Energy Solutions (IES) Conference presented by Council of Energy Resource Tribes in Los Angeles, CA on September 23-25, 2010. The IES is the premier American Indian energy development conference and exhibition for Tribal leaders, industry experts, unions, and government representatives. IES is a three-day conference which brings everyone together to explore and understand current trends in energy development and how they may address the needs of Tribal communities. It is also an opportunity to work together on finding solutions to the broader energy needs in the United States. As a sponsor, BIA will receive the following: *6 registrations to conference;*A seat at the Energy Forum;*1 table at American Spirit Award Dinner (8 reserved seats);*Table sign at American Spirit Award Dinner;*Reserved Seating at Gerneal Sessions;*Logo recognition in conference program;*Logo with link on conference website;*An exhibitor's booth;*Brochure in registration packets; and*Half-page ad in conference program. Interested concerns capable of providing compatible services to the ones identified in this synopsis may submit a capability statement outlining their interest and capabilities. No solicitation is available. Information received will be evaluated for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Following evaluation of capability statements, a determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received within 10 calendar days from the date of this synopsis, the Contracting Officer shall proceed with award to Council of Energy Resource Tribes.
