- Description
- Description of Work: The Mule Creek Road project consists of constructing approximately 1.95 miles of roadway with turnouts and approaches, installing corrugated metal pipes, obliterate approximately 0.75 miles of abandoned road, topsoil removal and placing, seeding and erosion control. All work to be done as outlined in the Plans, Drawings, Specifications, Special Project Provisions and Construction Notes for this project. Project Location: The project is located approximately twelve (12) miles west and three (3) miles south of Alexander, ND in Section18, Township 150 North, Range 103 West and Section(s) 13, 22, 23 and 24, Township 150 North, Range 104 West, McKenzie County, North Dakota. Price Range: Between $100,000 – $250,000 Pre-Bid Tour: No formal site tour is planned, however, bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the site prior to preparing and submitting their bid. Bidders desiring to visit the site may contact Curt Grudniewski, Medora Ranger District office, Dickinson, N.D. telephone number 701-227-7856 for information. Government-Furnished and Delivered Property: None Estimated Start Date/Period of Performance: No work can be performed between March 1st to June 15th of any year due to grouse lekking activities. Period of performance was extended to 9/1/11 in Amendment #2. BID RESPONSE DATE EXTENDED TO 9/13/10 AT 2PM MDT DUE TO NO BIDS REC'D ON 8/30/10 AT 2PM MDT. PLEASE REVIEW ALL MATERIALS AND AMENDMENTS. INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS ARE IN SECTION L OF THE SOLICITATION. ALL AMENDMENTS SHALL BE ACKNOWLEDGED AND BONDING REQUIREMENTS SHALL BE ADHERED TO. Thank you for your interest in this project.
