- Description
- This is a notice of intent from U S Naval Hospital, Guam to issue a Sole-source purchase order to DHL EXPRESS for transporting lab specimens, medical equipments, medical supplies and govt documentations both outbounds and inbounds to multi-facilities in Japan, Okinawa, Hawaii and the United States. Due to our geographical location, to facilitate, excel, accelerate and enhance safety patient care, DHL EXPRESS pre-authorized U S Naval Hospital, Guam with a charge account to expedite all the necessary transactions to accomplish the U S Naval Hospital Mission - Safety Patient Care. The determination not to compete this proposal purchase order has been made according to FAR 13.106(2)(b). The urgency requirements must be delivered and received within twenty four (24) hours or less. Contractor will be responsible for picking up and deliver to the U S Naval Hospital, Guam five (5) to six (6) days a week. The Govt contemplates awarding a FIRM FIXED PRICE Purchase Order. The Contractor shall perform all necessary actions to comply/meet U S Customs and Transportation National Security Regulations. This is not a Small Business Set-Aside. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations.
