- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Center Fort Sam Houston intends to issue a solicitation for a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract, sole source to Emergency Management Communication Inc. (EMTEL) under FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source, for three software program upgrades: PopAlert911, AutoCon911, and CallCast911 that will integrate with the USANORTH's current emergency notification system called PyrALERT. The software packages will be integrated into the PyrALERT emergency notification system located at Headquarters, USANORTH, Fort Sam Houston Texas. FOB: Destination The Government anticipates release of this solicitation on or about 3 September 2010, with a projected closing date of 10 September 2010. This solicitation and all amendments will be issued through the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi and Federal Business Opportunities Website (FedBizOpps) at https://www.fbo.gov/. Offerors are required to check the above websites daily to be notified of any changes to the solicitation. These are projected dates and are subject to change. Hard/paper copies of the solicitation will not be provided. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps website to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition.
