- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Allied Defense Industries of Martinsburg, WV for four (4) Seat Bucket Protectors, P/N 2021AS187-1 and four (4) Seat Bucket Protector Handles, P/N 2021AS218-1 required for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) F/A-18 Super Hornet Program. These items are used to protect the ejection seat during scheduled maintenance. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 3204 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data, drawings or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
