Set Aside: Turkish Vendors Only NAICS Code: 238160 Roofing Contractors Contracting Office Address: Department of the Air Force, United States Air Force Europe, 39th Contracting Sqd - Unit 7090 Box 127, Incirlik AB, Turkey, 09824-0280 This notice is to identify all prospective offerors within the Republic of Turkey in submitting proposals for the upcoming solicitation of Project LJYC 04-1044, Repair Roof Bldg 444. This requirement is for Removal of existing roofing system and Installation of new roofing systems on Incirlik Air Base. All prospective offerors must be in the CCR and submit a DUNS number as well. The intended award is anticipated to be a firm-fixed price type contract. The formal solicitation is expected to be released on or about 1 Sep 2010. Proposal will on 17 September 2010. ATTENTION POTENTIAL OFFERORS: IMPORTANT INFORMATION CONCERNING ELIGIBILITY FOR AWARD OF THIS SOLICITATION. DUE TO ESTABLISHED ECONOMIC AGREEMENTS BETWEEN THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT AND THE GOVERNMENT OF TURKEY, THE AIR FORCE INTENDS TO AWARD THIS SOLICITATION TO A BUSINESS CONCERN WITHIN THE COUNTRY OF TURKEY. THEREFORE, PROPOSALS FROM BUSINESS CONCERNS OUTSIDE OF TURKEY WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. In accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award of all solicitations. Registration may be accomplished at http://www.ccr.gov, or telephone at 1-888-CCR-2423. All potential offerors must submit the attached Pre-Proposal Conference/Site Reservation Form to this office identifying the company name, address, phone number, email, and solicitation point of contact if the U.S. government is to make arrangements for their access to the base. The cutoff date for submitting the Pre-Proposal Conference/Site Visit Reservation Form is 1400 local, 3 September 2010. Pre-Proposal Conference/Site Visit Reservation Forms can be hand carried, sent by mail, or sent via e-mail to be accepted. Any interested parties who do not submit the above requested information by the stated cut-off date will be responsible for making their own arrangements with Turkish Air Force (TuAF) Pass & ID officials for obtaining access to Incirlik Air Base, Turkey. Magnitude of this solicitation is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00.
