- Justification & Approval Document for Sole Source Award In accordance with FAR 5.101(a)(2), this is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract and is not a request for proposals. The 316th Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Andrews NAF Washington, MD, intends to make a sole source award to Alarm Security Group, LLC for 12-months of preventative maintenance on the closed circuit television monitoring system at Child Development Center 1, Child Development Center 2, and the J. P. Hoyer Child Development Center, on Joint Base Andrews. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 238210. The proposed contract is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, 'Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.' THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS and a solicitation will not be issued. In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(15)(i), this acquisition will be procured IAW FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency needs, all proposal submitted, in response to the notice, shall NOT be considered by the agency.
