- Description
- The proposed contract action is for supply or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR Part 6.302. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to Foster-Miller, Inc. at 350 Second Avenue, Waltham, MA 02451-1196 for the purchase of one (1) Talon Generation IV Robot System. Foster-Miller, Inc. is the original developer, the designer, and the sole owner of all patents and trade secrets in regards to this requirement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541712 with a size standard of 500 employees. Any award resulting from this requirement will be issued pursuant to FAR 12 and 13.5, Acquisition of Commercial Items-FAC 2005-42. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide this product, interested parties may submit technical literature showing their capability of meeting the Governments requirement by August 31, 2010 at 2:00 PM EST.
