- RFQP01131000012 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Federal Correctional Institution, Morgantown, West Virginia, intends to issue solicitation RFQP01131000012, for the annual Bread requirement. The items include wheat bread, hoagie rolls, dinner rolls, hamburger buns, and hotdog buns. The contract type is firm-fixed price, FOB Destination, with delivery date beginning October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2011. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution Morgantown warehouse, 446 Greenbag Road, Morgantown, WV 26501. The Government will award to the responsible offeror whose offer is conforming to the solicitation, that is considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered, prices being rated higher than past performance. The solicitation will be made available on or about August 30, 2010 and will be posted to the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fbo.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to insure they have the most up to date information about this solicitation. The due date for receipt of quotes is September 15, 2010 4:00 PM Eastern. Vendors must be able to accept Government Purchase Card as the mode of payment. Each offeror is required per 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the On-line Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/bids equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
