Description
DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Army, Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Directorate of Contracting, Ft Belvoir, intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole-source basis, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, with Wind River Systems, 500 Wind River Way, Alameda, CA, the purchase of Tornado: x86 Windows NT/x86 Object and VxWorks GPP for delivery to Fort Monmouth, NJ. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within time and date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. HOW TO RESPOND: In order to compete for this project, interested parties must be registered in the Central Contracting Registration and submit a Price and Technical Proposals by 8:00 am, ET, 2 September 2010. Offerors may either submit one copy of the proposal to Sharon Balilea, MICC, 9410 Jackson Lp, Ste 101, Ft Belvoir, VA 22060-5116 by mail, fax (703-806-4465) or via email, sharon.balilea@us.army.mil. E-mail is preferable, but must be timely. It is the responsibility of the Offeror to ensure the proposal is received by the date and time shown above.
