Description
OTHER END ITEM APPLICATIONS: 80N, VERSATILE AVIONICS SHIP TEST (VAST) SYSTEMS; AND VVN, AVIATION LIFE SUPPORT SYSTEMS. RFP SPM4A6-10-R-1127, IQC10239009044, NSN 6230-01-357-2175, Flashlight IAW Seitz Scientific Industries, Inc., CAGE 0ST81, P/N FL-5. This item is being procured under "other than full and open competition procedures" under 10 USC 1304(c)(1), Unrestricted Procurement. This item is not commercial and has critical application. The Trade Agreement Act applies. Cost & Pricing data may be required. A subcontracting plan may be required. This solicitation is for a proposed Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) with base year of 12 months and 4 option years. The guaranteed minimum is 639 EA, base year only. Maximum annual contract quantity: 5,112 EA. Minimum delivery order quantity: 639 EA; maximum delivery order quantity: 2,556 EA, which is also the estimated annual demand. The requested terms are FOB destination, Inspection and Acceptance at destination. Delivery (PLT) was requested for this IQC at 30 days ARO for all delivery orders, as posted on the Surge Database website. IQC will cover DLA-Direct delivery orders only; stock delivery locations will be any facility in the Continental United States as cited on each delivery order per the DSCR Form P-41. Surge is required. The MWR is 201 EA. The solicitation will be available on or about September 15, 2010, and will close on or about October 15, 2010. The final contract award decision will be based on a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil on the issue date cited in the RFP.
