- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. Proposals are being requested. BOOKS: C2-2007 National Safety Electrical Code 2007 edition (printed version) 50 copies. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Huntsville Center, Huntsville AL intends to execute a sole source purchase order with The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Incorporated (Doing Business as IEEE Service Center) to provide NSEC 2007 books in the quantity specified above, FOB destination. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order to the firm stated above; however, any other firms that may be interested in this order may submit a brief statement of their interest and qualifications (to include CAGE Code, Tax ID, DUNS Number, and CCR Registered) along with a proposal, availability to ship, and estimated delivery date for the quantity requested in this synopsis. Estimated value of the order is approximately $7,900. This corrects previous announcement which incorrectly identified the company.
