- FOR MORE INFORMATION CONTACT Richard Bock richard.bock@us.army.mil This is a market survey to locate sources for a Tactical Fiber Optic Modem (FOM) NSN 5895-01-186-3665. The Fiber Optic Modem performs electro-optical conversion for full duplex transmission between the digital communications equipment within a shelter by electrically interfacing through a MS27468T17B35A type connector and a Fiber Optic Cable Assembly CX-13295/G outside the shelter by optically interfacing through a Fiber Optic Bulkhead Connector. The FOM is to be built to Military Performance Specification A3329669. This is for a 5 year IDIQ, first year guaranteed quantity is 120 each. NSN Part Number QTY 5895-01-186-3665 A3099781 120 Any interested sources please email or send information for evaluation starting August 6, 2010 ending Sept. 14,2010, to Commander, USA CECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LCC-ICP (Mr. Richard Bock), Building 1202W, Ft. Monmouth, NJ 07703-5000. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with a unit that will be physically and functionally interchangeable with the unit from the previous supplier. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army. Interested source shall provide estimated range prices. All information must be submitted and received no later than August 20, 2010. This is a market survey requesting information only. The submission of this information is for planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to procure any items/services, or for the Government to pay for the information received.
