Description
Solicitation CAUTION - BEWARE OF EXPOSED NETWORK CABLE ON FLOOR Contractor is to provide all labor and materials necessary to replace AIRH-901 except the indoor and outdoor units. Westinghouse will provide the units WA #15145 and WA #15146. Contractor to replace the existing Sanyo split system air-conditioning unit with the same Sanyo model. AIRH-901 is a split air-conditioner (AC) consisting of one indoor unit (15145) and one outdoor unit (15146). Refrigerant lines run between the units. A condensate drain line runs from the indoor unit to an existing area sump pit. The indoor unit is located in the PDAR room 08-113 in the MPB. The outdoor unit is located on the west side of the Control Room. The replacement AC shall be identical to the existing AC unit. The indoor unit is Sanyo # KHS 3672 R (15145). The outdoor unit is Sanyo # C3672R (15146). Contractor to remove the existing AC indoor and outdoor units. Install the new AC in the same location. Reuse the existing refrigerant lines, drain line, electrical connections, wall mount (indoor unit), and concrete pad (outdoor unit). Both the existing and new unit use R-410 A. Confirm new AC unit contains sufficient refrigerant for the existing refrigerant lines. Refrigerant should not have to be added to the system. Installation shall follow manufacturer's suggested installation procedures. Contractor is to replace liquid line drier with Sporlan part number C-163-S or Engineering approved equal. Contractor is to program the existing remote control unit to control new unit. The contractor is responsible for the removal of the Freon in the old AC unit and to turn in the old unit to Maintenance for disposition through Property. The contractor is responsible for the removal and addition of refrigerant, if required.
