- Contract Award Amount equals $5,501,840.00 Recovery Funds, and $3,000,000.00 Non-Recovery Funds. Recovery--Work consists of the following: Construct a rock arch rapids to ease access for native fish species over the 11-foot high dam. Work is to include the addition of approximately 82,350 CY of rock fill placed over a river footprint area 300 feet wide by 375 feet long. A 300-foot long protective steel sheet pile retaining wall will be constructed to protect the existing lock structure. The steel sheet pile wall will be a conventional design consisting of 40 to 60-foot long PZ 40 steel sheeting with a continuous anchor wall consisting of 10 to 14-foot long PZ 35 steel sheeting. The work shall also include access road and parking lot repairs and paving. The magnitude of this project is over $10,000,000. The Solicitation is UNRESTRICTED. The Solicitation issued will be Firm Fixed Price. The Solicitation will be issued on or about 15 July 2010 with bids due on or about 13 August 2010. Solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be posted on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/. In order to receive notification of any amendments to this solicitation, interested parties must REGISTER AS AN INTERESTED VENDOR on the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/.
