- Description
- The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Healthcare Network Upstate New York (VAHNUNY) at Canandaigua, a division of the United States Governments Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has a need for specialized medical resources to be furnished by the Contractor. The specialized medical resources required are for clinic coverage and orthopedic surgical procedures as described herein. The term of this contract shall be from November 1, 2010 or date of award, through October 31, 2011. The ability to exercise two 1-year option periods is available at the discretion of the Government. This contract is issued subject to the availability of appropriations in Fiscal Year 2011. The Contractor will not perform services after September 30 of each Fiscal Year unless specifically authorized by the Contracting Officer. Fee Schedule: The Fee Schedule establishes an all-inclusive fee for services provided by the contractor. The pricing by the Contractor for outpatient surgical and laser procedures is all inclusive of equipment, facility, nursing, technical personnel, laboratory testing, drugs, supplies and professional services. The follow up visits related to the procedures post operatively are covered under Global Fee schedule for 90 days post procedure. Surgical & Laser Procedures: The Contractor shall provide surgical procedures. All surgical procedures will be performed in accordance with VA Fee Basis Authorization. Radiologic Fee Schedule: The Contractor shall provide x-rays at their facility when related to the care rendered to support continuity of care while off-site. MRI or CT Services are not covered under this contract and will be referred to Buffalo or Syracuse VA. If an emergency exists, MRI or CT Services at the vendors facility or locally will be reviewed and approved by the Chief of Staff (COS) prior to performing service.
