- The Supply Directorate, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Cherry Point, NC 28533 hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source procurement to CK Technologies, Inc., 3629 Vista Mercado, Camarillo, CA 93012-8055 (Cage Code: 0D8R7) under the authority of FAR 13.501(a). The requirement is for the upgrade of an Automatic Wire Test Set (AWTS), which currently tests the following aircraft Units Under Test (UUTs): TAV-8B Fuselage and Wing, AV-8B Production Radar-Fuselage and Wing, AV-8B Radar/Raman-Fuselage and Wing, and AV-8B Night Attach-Fuselage and Wing. The upgrade of the test set will allow for testing of the AV-8B Day Attach Upgrade “ Fuselage and Wing. CK Technologies is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the existing AWTS and maintains all proprietary data rights and drawings to the test set. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested parties may identify their interest and unique capabilities to respond to this requirement or submit their quote. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
