- Old Cabinets Under Counter View for Bldg 1560 Bldg 1556 and 1561 Under Counter Cabinet Drawing This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number FA4625-10-Q-0069 is issued as a request for quotation to provide and install 124 cabinets in Challenger Hall Bldg 1560, one (1) cabinet in Discovery Hall Bldg 1561, and three (3) cabinets in Columbia Hall Bldg 1556 at Whiteman AFB, MO. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-33, DFARS DCN 2009-015, AFFARS AFAC 2009-0318. The NAICS code is 337110 with the corresponding small business size standard of 500 employees. This is a lowest price technically acceptable acquisition. Contractor shall submit a proposed plan, period of performance, and price. Paper copies of the Request for Quotation shall not be made available. STATEMENT OF WORK SPECIFICATIONS: -Quantity: 128 Cabinets -Units shall be 35"H X 21"D X 48"L (Contactor to field verify prior to manufacturing). Actual size may vary from 44"L to 48"L. Depth will not have a variance; it will stay at 21". The frame front shall be 35" tall, but the sides shall be 32" tall to fit under the countertop mounting braces. -No top is required. -Approximately half of the cabinets will be opposite the other half. Meaning, the sink will be on the left side of half the cabinets and on the right side on the other cabinets. -Electrical power box: For bldg 1556 and 1561 the electrical power box shown in the photos is also on the opposite side of the sink. For bldg 1560 the electrical power box is inset in the wall. -Finish front only, sides to be white melamine. -Cabinet back: Full backs. Allow room at rear to slide past existing sink location, plumbing, and electrical work as needed. (Actual location of box may vary to some degree.) -Interior of cabinet shall be white melamine with one fixed shelf. The top of the shelf shall be 12" above the cabinet floor. -Exterior front, including the doors of unit shall be solid oak (two coats clear coat seal). No oak particle board or veneer will be used. -Hardware: Pulls - 4" brushed chrome wire; Hinges - on doors to be chrome full-length with piano hinge, 3" toe kick to be black; no substitutions from SOW requirement. Drawer Glides: Heavy duty grade nylon, three-quarter versus full extension. -Drawer dimensions: (Interior): The width for all drawers shall be 14"W. The top drawer shall be 4"H. The bottom two drawers shall be 6"H. - For bldg 1556 and 1561 the top drawer shall be 17"L. The bottom two drawers shall be 19 ½"L. - For bldg 1560 all drawers shall be 19 ½"L. -Submit all construction drawings and finish materials to user for approval prior to manufacturing. -Cabinets will be installed under existing countertops, which are fastened to the wall. -All board thicknesses shall be in accordance with the industry standard. -Cabinet will cover existing electrical outlet.
