- Description
- The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Veterinary Services (VS) intends to issue a sole source award using commercial procedures to acquire the services of Laboratory Testing for Brucellosis and Pseudorabies (PRV) program disease surveillance testing of cattle and swine blood collected at slaughter plants in Wisconsin. The contractor is required to perform four types of testing. Washington State University, Pullman, WA is responsible for providing all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform USDA approved Brucellosis and PRV tests on blood samples collected. The proposed contract action is for the testing services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Numbered Note 22 applies. This synopsis is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored.
