- This acquisition will cover a Lining, Helmet, Shock Absorbing (HGU-55/P), quantity 6,600 units; NSN 8475-01-212-2938 (2,838 units), 8475-01-212-2939 (2,112 units), 8475-01-214-2418 (1,650 units). This acquisition will be issued on an unrestricted basis. First Article Testing is not required. All material is to be contractor furnished. Delivery is FOB Destination and the destinations are Tracy, CA and New Cumberland, PA. Production lead time is 90 days after award date at a rate of 700 units per month. Inspection and Acceptance at Origin. The Lining, Helmet, Shock Absorbing (HGU-55/P) shall be in accordance with design control reference: 85D7081-1 Medium 85D7082-1 Large 85D7083-1 X-Large Cage Code: 97427 In accordance with drawing NR 14153 555C&T, amend NR dated 02/16/2007. The estimated solicitation release date is 09/09/2010.
