- Phlebotomist Services FCI Seagoville The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to issue a solicitation for the provision of Phlebotomist Services for the Federal Correctional Institution Seagoville, Texas. The contractor shall provide Phlebotomist Services for the inmate population in a correctional setting. The contract period shall consist of one base year from the effective date of award through September 30, 2010 and four 12- month option periods for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the Government. It is estimated the contract will provide thirty sessions per week. A session is defined as one hour in duration and the estimated total sessions per year is 1200 for the base year, and 1440 for each option year. The solicitation will be available on or about August 26, 2010 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The site provides downloading instructions. Hard copies of the solicitation will NOT be available. Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must register at www.ccr.gov. All future information about this solicitation, including solicitation amendments will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotations is 2:00 P.M. CT October 1, 2010, however, this is a projected estimate and quoters should refer to the solicitation (1449 -Block #08) for the actual date quotations are due. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 621399 with a size standard of $7.0 million. All responsible small business concerns may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The anticipated date of award is November 1, 2010.
