- The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Veterinary Services (VS) intends to issue a sole source purchase order award to Veterinary Professional Services, located in La Vista, NE for M. Bovis tuberculin, PPD, 10 ml vials for use in testing cattle for bovine tuberculosis. One of the specific requirements for this product is that this product does not require refrigeration during use in the field or after use in the field. This product remains stable at a temperature of 37 degrees Celsius for 3 months. The proposed contract action is to supply VS with this product to support their TB Eradication Program for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 41 U.S.C. 253(c) (1). Numbered Note 22 applies. This synopsis is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals. This notice is for information purposes only.
