- SOLICTATION DOCUMENTS SF 1449 THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; (Solicitation No. AG-94TZ-S-10-0086) The NAICS Code applicable to this acquisition is 332911. This is a Total Small Business Set-aside. For a Company to qualify as a small business, the small business size standard is 500 Employees or less. The Government intends to issue a firm fixed price purchase order using Simplified Acquisition procedures on or about September 10, 2010. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The USDA-Forest Service at the Tonto National Forest, AZ has a requirement for 62 ea yard hydrants. Presently the need consists primarily of Executive® Sanitary Yard Hydrant. The yard hydrant must be capable of meeting the specific needs of the end user and must include the following minimum characteristics; • Meets ASSE 1057 Sanitary Yard Hydrant Standards • Fully Automatic, No Winterizing Required • All Elastomeric & Moving Parts Accessible From The Surface • Sanitary, Prevents Cross Contamination • Does Not Contaminate Water Supply • Does Not Contaminate Ground Water • Fully Self Contained • Easy Maintenance • Non-Polluting • Freeze-Proof • 2' Bury Depth • 1052 Backflow Preventer Standard • Rugged Cast Iron Head and ADA 5lb Handle
