- Description
- The National Park Service, National Capital Region, is currently developing its strategic plan for youth programs. The Contractor will be the primary person to assist with the National Park Service staff in researching and analyzing and documenting the needs into a strategic plan. The strategic plan will be implemented by National Park Service staff to provide opportunities that will engage youth in programs and activities that will develop park stewards as well as inspire youth to consider career opportunities with the service. The Contractor will be responsible for submitting the final deliverable which is the youth strategic plan to the National Park Service. The Contractor shall have proven experience of working with youth from various ethnic backgrounds, age levels, and underrepresented populations. The Contractor shall show evidence of past experience facilitating a professional group discussion. The Contractor must have experience with writing a strategic plan. All work is within the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area. This procurement is 100-percent set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541611, Strategic Planning Consulting Services, with a small business size of $7 million of annual average gross revenues of the total concern for the last 3 fiscal years. The anticipated date the solicitation package will be issued on electronic commerce website ideasec.nbc.gov on or before September 1, 2010. The contract awarded will be a firm-fixed price contract. The estimated magnitude of this procurement is between $35,000 and $60,000. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered.
