- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N68836-10-T-0358 applies and is issued as a Request for Quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-43 effective 02 August 2010 and Defense Acquisition Change Notice 20080124. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339999. Naval Diving & Salvage Training Center, Panama City, FL requires services on a full and open competition per the following. STATEMENT OF WORK 1.0 SCOPE Contractor shall commit to the following scope of work with the appropriate resources to complete the Access System project as outlined: B1. AQUATIC FACILITY OZONE SYSTEM a.The Contractor shall ensure the highest degree of workmanship consistent with good engineering principles. All finished work shall disallow the following conditions. 1.Damage to the existing equipment/ structure while installing the coolers on-site and during transport and/or maneuvering of the equipment. b.NDSTC and the contractor will conduct a Pre-Installation meeting where the contractor shall provide a work schedule plan after the contact award for the purpose of reviewing the Statement of Work (SOW) and/or amending the contractors work plan to prevent interruption of training support to Diver Training. A start date will be determined to meet both the contractors ™ needs and to allow the contractor to meet a point of contact with NDSTC. c.NDSTC shall inspect the equipment/ installation prior to acceptance. The contractor will have 10 days to remedy the discrepancies and contact NDSTC immediately upon completion of work for inspection. BUILDING 351 Auxiliary Pool (288,000 gallons) Equipment: Ozone System (see proposal) Installer: Commercial Energy Specialist (CES) Scope: Contractor will supply one Aquatic Ozone System. The Contractor will install the system inside the pool ™s equipment room Building 351. All piping will be installed with ball valves and check valves accordingly for proper operation. The Contractor will also install all electrical for the system tying into the facilities existing breaker box. 2.0TASKS REQUIREMENTS Contractor shall: 2.1 Contractor will be responsible for: Installing all equipment and components IAW Industry standards. Parties responding to this solicitation may submit their offer in accordance with their standard commercial practices (e.g. on company letterhead, formal quote form, etc.) but must include the following information: 1) company ™s complete mailing and remittance addresses, 2) discounts for prompt payment if applicable 3) cage code, 4) Dun & Bradstreet number, 5) Taxpayer ID number. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with their offer. The Government intends to make a single award to the eligible, responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation, and is the most advantageous to the Government considering price and technical factors.
