Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Activity-8, in support of James A. Haley Veterans Hospital intends to negotiate a noncompetitive award under Request for Quotation number VA-673-10-RQ-0635, with HORCHER LIFTING SYSTEMS Inc., a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) to provide Preventative Maintenance and Inspection of our Patient Lifts within the facility, 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd, Tampa, FL 33612. This procurement is a sole source award pursuant to authority of sections 502 and 503 of Public Law 109-461, the Veterans Benefits, Health Care, and Information Technology Act of 2006 (38 U.S.C. §8127 (b)) and VAAR 819.7007 Sole source award to service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns. This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals. The Government intends to award a fixed price Requirements contract in accordance with all terms and conditions of the solicitation. The NAICS code is 423450 and the small business size standard is 100 employees. Scope of Work: The contractor shall furnish all management, supervision, labor, materials, equipment, specified supplies, and resources necessary to provide: 1. Annual Preventative Maintenance (PM), 2. Inspection and Repair services, and 3. On-call Repair services not preempted by PM, for the following Equipment Manufacturer ™s: Arjo, Liko, Dignity Inc., BHM Medical Inc., and Guldmann. The contractor shall have the appropriate license(s), Manufacturers Service Certification(s) etc, to perform required services. ALL work must be performed by Factory Certified Technicians qualified to service current equipment inventory. Work to be performed Monday through Friday during normal Hospital Working Hours (8:00am-5:00pm). The contract performance period consists of: One year base period, and four optional one year periods. (1 Oct 2010 “ 30 Sep 2015) these dates may be adjusted based upon actual date of award).
