- 1st qtr FY 11 meat The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex (FCC), Petersburg located at 1060 River Road in Hopewell, Virginia, intends to issue a solicitation for the requirement of Quarterly Meat orders which will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website. The orders will be placed by the Food Service Department. The orders will need to delivered by October 1, 2010, and no later than October 7, 2010. Deliveries will be made to the FCC Petersburg (Warehouse), 1060 River Road, Hopewell, Virginia 23860. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right to award item by item, by group, or as a whole, whichever is more advantageous to the Government. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, that are considered to be the overall value to the Government, in regards to price, delivery and past performance. The solicitation will be made available on or about August 26, 2010, and will be posted to the General Service Administration Federal Business Opportunities website: www.fedbizopps.gov. The site provides all downloading instructions on how to obtain a copy of the solicitation. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. Faith-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations, for contracts in which they are eligible. All future information about this solicitation is unrestricted and all responsible business sources are encouraged to submit a quote for consideration. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. All quotes must be received NLT September 15, 2010, 2:00pm (eastern standard time). The anticipated date of award is September 17, 2010. All items must be with National Menu Specification. The Government reserves the right to decide how payment will be made using either Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or Government Purchase Card. Per 52.212-3, each offer is required to complete their presentations and certifications via the on-line Applications (ORCA) at http:/orca.bpn.gov. All potential offerors must have a current registration in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) database at www.ccr.gov.
