Description
This Sources Sought Notice is a Request for Information (RFI) and for planning purposes only. This is not a pre-solicitation or solicitation announcement and no contract will be awarded from this Notice. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice. No phone calls related to this RFI will be accepted. All interested companies are requested to submit an electronic capabilities package that does not exceed ten (10) pages (all inclusive with the exception of the title page and table of contents). The capabilities package will be concise and focused. The capabilities packages shall be company specific. Sales brochures, videos and other marketing information materials are not solicited and will not be reviewed. Cost or price information is not solicited and will not be reviewed. Interested companies shall submit an electronic copy of their capabliities statements via email to: Michael Rich, 703-875-6106, richmb@state.gov. All correspondence shall be via email. All responses must include the following information: a. Company name; b. Company address; c. Company business size; d. Commercial & Government Entity (CAGE) Code e. Current North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Codes; and f. Point of contact name, telephone number, and email address. STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) FOR TRANSPORTATION SERVICES SCOPE: Under this task order, the contractor shall provide transportation services of government employees to locations in Washington, DC for the Department of State's Near East Affairs and South Central Asian Affairs Bureaus, Office of the Executive Director, including the Orientation and In-Processing Office (OIP), 2201 C Street, NW, Washington, DC. TASKS/SERVICES: • On pre-scheduled basis, pick-up employee(s) at 10:00 a.m. Monday through Friday each Federal Workday from Department of State Annex 4 - Navy Hill Building, 23rd St. and D St., NW; transport employee(s) to between one (1) and five (5) locations within Washington, DC, waiting for a period not to exceed 30 minutes at each location; and return employees back to State Annex 4. • Respond to ad hoc transport requests within 45 minutes of call from designated requestors. • The Department of State may cancel any trip, including pre-scheduled daily trips with 45 minutes or more notice. The Department of State will incur no charges for pick-ups canceled at least 45 minutes prior to the scheduled pick up time. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE The period of performance is one year from the date of contract award and may be extended if needed. GOVERNMENT-FURNISHED EQUIPMENT, BADGE, KEYS AND/OR FACILITIES PROVIDED Neither contractor facility nor its personnel are required to obtain clearance through the Department of State, since pick-up locations do not require building access entry. SECURITY CLEARANCE The support contractor is not required to obtain a security clearance to work under this task order. However, the contractor shall comply with all applicable Department of State (DoS) security regulations and procedures during the performance of this task order. The contractor shall not disclose and must safeguard procurement sensitive information, computer systems and data, privacy act data, and Government personnel work products that are obtained or generated in the performance of this task order. GOVERNMENT TASK MANAGER The Government Task Manager will provide general instructions on limitations and deadlines, and is responsible for administration of the task order in compliance with the contract to include inspection and acceptance of deliverables.
