- FY11 1st Qtr Subsistence This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Loretto, Pennsylvania intends to issue solicitation RFQP02081000014, for the requirements of Quarterly Subsistence NAICS 445110. This solicitation is for 100% Small Business and FOB Destination, deliveries will begin on October 1, 2010. All items shall be received by October22, 2010. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution Loretto, PO Box 1000, 772 Saint Joseph St., Loretto, Pennsylvania 15940. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right upon award to make formal single or multiple awards. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, that are considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered, price being rated higher than past performance. The solicitation will be made available on or about August 24, 2010 and will be posted to the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fbo.gov. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to insure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is, September 17, 2010, 4:00pm Eastern Time. Payment will be made using a Government Credit Card. The following apply to this acquisition: The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offers-Commercial; 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items-Price; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. Each offer is required per 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the On-line Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at http:orca.bpn.gov.
