- This is a special notice of intent to award a 9-month contract extension to contract number W912CF-05-D-0021 on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements to New Jersey Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired (NJCBVI) for the management and operation of food services at USAMAPS Dining Facility, Ft. Monmouth, NJ. The current contract, set to expire 25 September 2010, provides full food services encompassing all phases of food service from procurement, inspection, transportation, storage, distribution, issue and sale, preparation and serving of meals. This sole-source 9-month extension will run 26 September 2010 through 30 June 2011 and is necessary to bridge the gap between the current contract end date 25 September 2010 and final class graduation on 30 June 2011. Applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 722310. This notice is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation for offers. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. All inquiries must be addressed in writing to Jeffrey L.
