- The Federal Bureau of Prisons - Federal Correctional Institution Milan, Michigan, intends to issue an award for RFQP04171000021 Meat Items. The solicitation is a 100% set-aside FOB Destination. The NAICS code is 424470. Delivery dates will begin October 01, 2010 and end December 31, 2010. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution, 4004 E. Arkona Rd, P.O. Box 9999, Milan, MI 48160. The contract type is a firm fixed price. Kosher items offered on this bid must be certified by a nationally accepted orthodox Jewish Certification Agency. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, that are considered to be most advantageous to the Government based on best value. Best value will be determined by evaluating each quotation for one or more of the following: past performance, price comparison with other offers, and administrative costs. Price will be rated higher than past performance. The Government reserves the right to make single or multiple awards. The solicitation will be made available on or about August 26, 2010 and will be posted to the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fbo.gov. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. The deadline for receipt of quotes is September 23, 2010, 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Quotes received after closing date will not be considered. Payment will be made using Government Purchase Card.
