Description
Capability Statement AIR MOBILITY COMMAND (AMC) Aeromedical Evacuation Computer Based Training This Request for Information (RFI) is issued for informational and planning purposes only. Please note that the Air Force will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this request for information. HQ AMC/A7KQ is in the process of conducting market research aimed at determining industries capabilities to provide updates and revisions to an existing AMC Aeromedical Evacuation Computer Based Training (CBT) Program. HQ AMC/A3TM has a requirement to review and update computer-based courseware as part of its comprehensive Aeromedical Evacuation training program. The CBTs provide a vital tool used for professional certification and sustainment training within the aeromedical evacuation career field. This is not a solicitation for competitive bid, nor will it obligate the government to any contractual action. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541511. Small Business dollar threshold is $25.0 million. The AMC Aeromedical Evacuation CBT performance requirements are as follows: A. Currently, the Aeromedical Evacuation community has four CBT modules programs. Each CBT provides critical operational information to Aeromedical Evacuation Crew Members on their respective aircraft (KC-135, C-130, C-17, and C-21). The information provided within the CBTs (i.e. regulations, current procedures) is repetitive and outdated. During the update process, each module shall be examined and have its respective objectives and learning content reviewed to insure the modules meet the latest AMC regulatory training requirements. B. HQ AMC/A3T requires consolidation of the repetitive information into a new general crew duties introduction CBT module. C. After modification, all modules shall meet current Level III courseware standards and be Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) compliant. Modules shall combine audio, video, text, graphics and animation. Video, graphics, or a combination of both shall be presented simulating the operation of a system, subsystem, or equipment to the user; however, these are not full free play simulations. D. Each module shall provide a high degree of interactivity, extensive branching capability and maximum remediation opportunity for those task-oriented procedures that can be presented as a scenario. Example: Use of fire extinguisher bottle, open/closing of emergency exits etc. E. Copies of existing courseware will be made available as Government Furnished Courseware should this requirement be solicited through a Request for Proposal. F. Modules. Modules must be designed to operate on any standard desktop computers and the Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7 operating systems. Submission Information. Response by e-mail is required (reference Attachment 1) and should be forwarded to Sarah Norris, Contract Specialist, Sarah.Norris-02@scott.af.mil and Keri Lindsco, Contracting Officer, Keri.Lindsco@scott.af.mil. Response must be received by this office at or before 12:00 pm local time on 16 Sep 10.
