- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Buffalo, New York has a requirement for maintenance on Better Water, Inc. equipment. These requirements include maintenance and parts for the Reverse Osmosis equipment in Buffalo. The maintenance provider must be able to provide emergency repairs with a one (1) hour response time due to the critical nature of the equipment. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, and because the manufacturers warranty will be voided if an unauthorized representative provides these parts, repairs and technical support, it is the determination of the Contracting Officer that the only reasonable source is Aqua Sciences, Inc. It is of intent to enter into a sole source procurement with Aqua Science, Inc., this is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely by the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. Inquiries will only be accepted by email at allen.johnson2@va.gov
