- (Sol# 40181AQ418) This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and an award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This procurement is for Exotic Rat Removal. For more detail, please view and apply to this solicitation at http://ideasec.nbc.gov/j2ee/login.jsp or http://www.fbo.gov). Once in the website, anyone can either log in with their DUNs/MPIN number or enter the document number (40181AQ418). NAICS Code: 561710, Size Standard: $7 million. This work entails eradication of current rats and exclusion of any future rats from establishing by utilizing the most environmentally-friendly methods available including old style 'Victor' snap traps, T-Rex traps, glue or electronic traps, and exclusion methods to block entrance to the target treatment areas. Other task included removing, bagging, and disposal of all contaminated insulation and drop ceiling tiles in identified treatment areas, vacuuming as required, and replacing insulation and ceiling tiles. Vendors must provide detailed price quote (via separate attachment via e-mail to bryan_hagood@fws.gov) for various sections (A thru D) of services referenced in the solicitation. Additional information contained within the solicitation. Contractor shall furnish or obtain all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, supervision, permits and supplies and perform all work necessary for the delivery/performance of this requirement. The Job is located at the J.N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge, Sanibel, Florida 33957 (http://www.fws.gov/dingdarling/) This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. A firm fixed price commercial order will be issued. The Fish and Wildlife Service is presently using Electronic Commerce (EC) to issue Request for Quotations and Purchase Orders. You must register in EC at web site http://www.ccr.gov. If you have any registration questions, please call 1-888-227-2423. Prior to registering each company must obtain a Dun and Bradstreet Number. You may obtain this number free of charge at 1(866)705-5711. Once you are registered, you will be able to view solicitations on line at either http://www.fedbizopps.gov or http://ideasec.nbc.gov (the Department of Interior site). However, you will be able to view the solicitation without registering at www.fbo.gov. For questions at Interior's site, please call the help desk at (703)390-6633.
