- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N00244-10-T-0403. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-37 and DFARS Change Notice 2007913. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.acqnet.gov/far and http://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dfars/index.htm. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code is 423910 and the Small Business Standard is 100. The proposed contract action is for brand name or equal product. The brand name, model number, and salient characteristics of the product(s) are: SPECIFICATION: MFR GCS; P/N: PG2038-CB; SIZE 37"x17"x16.5 total volume =10,378.5 cubic inch; multi-wheeled; large main compartment; U shaped zipper closure system, adjustable length pull handle; grab-carry handles at each end; several cinch straps; 3 external zippered pockets (1 large runs length of bag, and 2 smaller pockets on the opposite side); inside - 6 zippered pocket sections and internal cinch straps. FAR 52.211-6 -- Brand Name or Equal is hereby incorporated by reference. Provide information required by FAR 52.211-6 when submitting offers for brand name or equal products. The Fleet Industrial Supply Center San Diego (FISCSD) requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing: CLIN 0001 MFR GCS P/N PG2038-CB ROLLING LOAD OUT BAG XL COYOTE BROWN QTY 240 UNIT EA Delivery is October 12, 2010; Delivery Location FOB Destination is MSRON5, Bldg. 184, NOLF-IB, Imperial Beach, CA 91932. Responsibility and Inspection: unless otherwise specified in the order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and quality control. The following FAR provision and clauses are applicable to this procurement: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items; 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items is applicable to this procurement. While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award will be based on a combination of factors - a combination of technical acceptability, price, and delivery.
