- A request for quotations is being prepared for road closure and stream improvement work on the Potosi/Fredericktown Ranger District of the Mark Twain National Forest. Work involves repairing erosion ditches and creating berms and water diversion ditches on approximately ½ mile of road. In addition, work involves removal of approximately 200 feet of road where the road is serving as an embankment behind a spring-fed pond. Following removal of the embankment, work will involve re-shaping the streamcourse for approximately 400 feet, placing rock and boulders along the streamcourse, removal of a steel culvert, and removal of fill material from the site. In order to be eligible for an award, potential contractors must comply with all requirements of FAR 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration. This solicitation will be available for downloading on or about August 26, 2010. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed to this office.
