- Description
- This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquistion Procedures. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is issuing a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for the delivery and tail gate spread of 6,701 tons of Chert on three (3) roads within the Hatchie National Wildlife Refuge. The Chert must meet Tennessee Department of Transportation specifications 903.05. This is a Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS Code is 212321 and the size standard is 500 employees.The magnitude of the project is between $25,000 to $100,000.The tenative date for issuance of the RFQ is 8/24/2010. The response date will be determined upon release of the RFQ. A firm-fixed price Purchase Order (PO) will be issued with an anticipated delivery date of 06/30/2011. The RFQ documents will be available electronically on the Federal Businsess Opportunities web site at http://fedbizopps.gov under RFQ 40181AQ412. Once the solicitation is posted it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site for any updates/amendments. Note: Registration with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for Electronic Commerce (EC) at the National Business Center (NBC) Web Site will also be required. Prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contract Registration (http://www.ccr.gov) and complete the Online Representatiion and Certification Application (ORCA) at http://www.bpn.gov in order to be eligible for award. CCR registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number which can be obtained free of charge from Dun and Bradstreet at 800/333-0505.
