- Battery Adapter Notice and Justification & Approval The 1 st Special Operations Contracting Squadron at Hurlburt Field FL intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to Tactical Support Equipment, for Line Item 0001: TSE-5590-H152 Battery Adapters.. This award is restricted to Tactical Support Equipment and is under North American Industry Classification System Code 335999 with a small business size standard of 500. This sole source action is being accomplished under the authority of FAR 13.501 The government believes that TSE-5590-H152 Battery Adapters are patented and proprietary commercial products that can only be acquired through TSE. This notice is NOT a request for quote. However, interested companies shall submit to the contracting officer a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 10 pages in length, single spaced, and 12 point font minimum) demonstrating ability to perform the requested services at or before 1:00 PM (central), 25 August 2010. Any information received will only be considered for the purpose of conducting a future competitive procurement. The contract award number is FA4417-10-F-0214 in the amount of $116,955.20. Anticipated award is 26 August 2010.
