- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT The Air Armament Center Enterprise Acquisition Specialized Flight located at 205 West D Avenue, Suite 468, Eglin Air Force Base, FL, 32542 intends to negotiate a sole source contract to Raytheon Missile Systems (RMS), located at P.O. Box 11337, Bldg 801 MS J 2, Tucson, AZ 85734-1337 for procurement of the following: RMS will deliver hardware in the form of Griffin TM missiles; and provide support equipment, and engineering services to support Overseas Contingency Operations (OCA). RMS developed the products being acquired. The Government intends to solicit, negotiate and award to only one contractor using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however all responses received within fifteen (15) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the Government. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of proposals in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any responses to this notice of contract action shall be submitted to Sean Capik, sean.capik@eglin.af.mil, and Dana Alexander, dana.alexander@eglin.af.mil no later than 7 September 2010, 4:00 PM CST.
