- SOLICIATATION Military Sealift Fleet Support Command (MSFSC), Norfolk, VA intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order for Lifeboat Parts for the USNS JOHN ERICSSON. Original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts are required. Any offer for other than OEM parts will not be considered. THIS IS A BRAND NAME/OEM PARTS REQUIREMENT. THE OEM IS UMOE SCHAT HARDING, INC. MANUFACTURER: UMOE SCHAT HARDING INC END ITEM APPLICATION: LIFEBOAT TEL 9.4 MKIV-1122 MODEL # 9.4 TEL MKIV See attached soliciation for list of parts. TEST PROGRAM FOR CERTAIN COMMERCIAL ITEMS: This requirement will be awarded using the procedures under FAR subpart 13.5, Test Program for Commercial items of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996. The following simplified acquisition procedures will by utilized: quotes will be solicited and a purchase order issued to the successful vendor. Purchase order procedures will supersede any contrary procedures set forth or incorporated by reference in the RFQ. EVALUATION -COMMERCIAL ITEMS: The following factor shall be used to evaluate offers: Low price, technically acceptable. INSTRUCTIONS TO OUOTERS: Submit quote to Contract Specialist; Lisa Howard-Alston, via Email to lisa.alston-howard@navy.mil or fax to 757-443-5979. Please provide warranties; if any as part of quote.
