- This requirement is to provide a variety of work items to manage vegetation at campgrounds located on The Canyon Lakes Ranger District, Roosevelt National Forest. Mountain pine beetle (MPB) has affected the sites where the work will occur resulting in the mortality of most mature trees. The killed trees have been removed and there is a need to manage the surviving trees and promote and develop a forested landscape. The work items included in this contract cover a variety of tasks including site preparation, transplanting trees, and maintenance and protection of newly established trees. All interested parties are encouraged to attend a Pre-Proposal Meeting that is scheduled for August 25, 2010 at 9:00am. The location will be in the Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, located at 2150 Centre Drive, Building E, Fort Collins, CO 80526.
