Description
This is Modification No. 1 to the synopsis entitled E3 Project Equipment,NNC10342369Q, which was posted on August 17, 2010. You are notified that the followingchanges are made: the following are answers to questions received from prospectivevendors.1. Power input is 2000 watts to 10 watts, that is a big range and a real cost driver. Wewould need power vs frequency so we can propose the optimum antenna set.2. Field strength of 50 to 200V/m, again field vs frequency is needed for optimum antennaset. Also a spot size or distance from the antennas would be useful.Provided the proper input is supplied the antenna set shall have the capacity to generatethe following field strengths for the given frequency ranges as measured 1 meter from theantenna.Frequency -- Minimum field strength @ 1 meter80-290 MHz -- 100 V/m1 GHz - 18 GHz -- 200 V/m18-19 GHz -- 50 V/m19-40 GHz -- 100 V/m3. 'interface with relative ease with existing hardware' We need to know what this is.A means of physically mounting the antenna to either a tripod or bracket. Also, for each of the antennas an optional 3 or 6 meter low loss cable (N or 2.9 mm withconnectors)The due date for responses is extended to August 27, 2010.Documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. Thesedocuments will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWWbrowser application.
