- The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority for FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within ten days after date of publication of this notice of intent. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Streambox Server and SBLive are the only services available for the requiring office to maintain technical compatibility with both DoD imaging systems and external major media customers. Streambox systems are hevily deployed throughout major broadcast media worldwide, and include DoD ™s Pentagon Press Room. Streambox is the only known source for the required goods and services that can provide the exact product configuration required as an in-stock, off-the-shelf product for immediate delivery, and delivered bundled with established maintenance and technical support, software upgrade, and hardware warranty. The applicable North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 334310.
