- Description
- The Bureau of Reclamation, Great Plains Regional Office, intends to solicit quotations for janitorial services at the Estes Powerplant and the Marys Lake Powerplant. Both powerplants are located in Estes Park, Colorado in Larimer County. The work under the solicitation will consist of the furnishing of all labor, materials, transportation, cleaning supplies, equipment and supervision to satisfactorily perform janitorial services as specified. The Government's quantity for floor space is estimated to be 25,000 total square feet. The anticipated period of services includes a one-year base period and four 1-year option periods. Offerors are urged to inspect the site where services are to be performed, and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance. Failure by prospective offerors to inspect the site will not relieve the offerors from the responsibility of properly estimating the difficulty or cost of successfully performing the work in accordance with the contract requirements. Detailed information regarding the scheduling of site visits will be included in the solicitation. Pursuant to Part 12 and Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations, Reclamation intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) on or around August 31, 2010. Quotes will be due on or around September 16, 2010. The RFQ will be issued as a total small business set-aside under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 561720. The applicable Small Business Size Standard is $16.5 million. The RFQ will be available for viewing through electronic commerce. RFQ Number R11PS60021 will be issued via https://www.fbo.gov, at the link provided in this notice. Interested vendors may also check Reclamation's website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. The RFQ and any subsequent amendments and/or notices will be available to vendors on these websites after August 31, 2010. Vendors are reminded they must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and in the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) to be considered for contract award. Registrations can be completed by going to www.ccr.gov and https://orca.bpn.gov/. The vendor's Duns & Bradstreet number and banking information are required for registration. All responsible sources who submit a timely quote will be considered for award. Quotes may be mailed, submitted electronically, e-mailed or faxed to (406) 247-7798.
