- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex, Oakdale Louisiana, intends to issue solicitation RFQP051810000034 for the requirements of: INMATE BURIAL SERVICES. This solicitation is restricted to 100% Small Business, FOB Destination, and will be an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm fixed pricing. The Government reserves the right upon award to make formal single award. The Government will award to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be most advantageous to the Government, and will be awarded based solely upon price. The solicitation will be made available on or about August 25, 2010, and will be posted to the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to insure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is September 10, 2010. Payment will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Each offer is required per FAR 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the On-line Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. Also, FAR clause 52.212-4(t) requires all contractors doing business with the Federal Government to be registered in the CCR database. Quoters should include their DUNS number in their quotes. The point of contact for all information regarding this solicitation is Keith Dupas, Contract Specialist, 1507 East Whatley Road, Oakdale, Louisiana, 71463. Sealed quotes shall be received on or before September 10, 2010 by 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time. Mailed and hand-carried quotes must be delivered to the Contract Specialist at the address shown above no later than the time specified as the deadline for receipt of quotes. The anticipated award date is September 17, 2010.
