- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. These items are proprietary products and services of VizRT and there are other authorized resellers. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541519 or 541511 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. The requirement is for the following Curious items: Curious World Maps 3D Export/Animator Option + 1 year annual Support – 6 ea. and Curious Maps + 1 year annual support - 2 ea. The reference number for this Request for Quote (RFQ) is 8G20130AR62. BRAND NAME JUSTIFICATION: NGA has a requirement for the brand name software licenses and annual software maintenance coverage as outlined above. All of the products referenced in this posting are proprietary products of VizRT. NGA is expanding and updating an existing system that currently utilizes Curious software and no other brand of software will seamlessly integrate into NGA's existing system. The Curious software and maintenance is the only software and maintenance that fulfills the form, fit, and function requirements of the NGA at this time. Period of performance for software maintenance is expected to be approximately 30 Sep 2010 through 29 Sep 2011. Please respond as soon as possible but no later than 1:00 pm Central, August 25, 2010.
