- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This statement of work consists of treating noxious weeds and providing treatment data. The contractor shall provide any and all labor, equipment, supplies, services, supervision, and transportation to accomplish weed treatment. Equipment being used for the requirements under this contract shall be cleaned prior to entering the installations and cleaning may be required between sites. A map showing water points on Fort Carson and PCMS will be furnished to the contractor. The contractor shall comply with all applicable federal, DoD, Army, state, local and Fort Carson laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act of 1972, as amended; the Federal Noxious Weed Act, as amended; Army Regulation 200-1 (Environmental Protection and Enhancement); and the Installation Pest Management Plan (IPMP), 21 September 2001.
