- NAICS: 238910 - Site Preparation Contractors CONTRACTING OFFICE ADDRESS Department of the Air Force, Direct Reporting Unit, USAF Academy - 10 CONS/LGCA, 8110 Industrial Drive, Suite 200, USAF Academy, CO 80840-2315. DESCRIPTION This acquisition is to demolish eight (8) housing units at the United States Air Force Academy, CO. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and any other items and services necessary to perform the demolition of the 8 housing units in the Pine Valley Housing area. The requirement consists of the demolition of 8 housing units to include but not limited to attached garages, concrete foundations, exterior concrete patio slabs, exterior asphalt paving, and preparing all disturbed areas for planting per USAFA Overarching Environmental Specifications. Asbestos and Lead Based Paint are likely components of the existing structures. The National Acquisition Industrial Classification Standard Code (NAICS) proposed is 238910, Site Preparation Contractors. The small business size standard is $14 million. This requirement is set aside for competition among HUBZone certified small business concerns in accordance FAR 19.1305. Proposals shall have an offer-acceptance period 120 days after proposal receipt date. Proposals offering less than 120 days acceptance period will not be considered. The solicitation will be issued on FedBizOpps at http://www.fbo.gov/. No paper copies of the solicitation, specifications, plans, mailing lists or associated solicitation documents will be issued from this office. Telephone requests will not be accepted. All interested parties must register on the FedBizOps website in order to receive notification or changes and/or new postings to the solicitation. There will be no further pre-announcement of when the solicitation will be posted, however, the issuance date is anticipated on or around 23 August 2010 with a closing date 30 days after issuance. A site visit will be scheduled within 10 calendar days after posting the solicitation. Potential offerors are reminded that in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004 all contractors are required to be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database in order to conduct business with the Department of Defense (DoD). Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award.
