- The Marine Corps Logistics Command, Contracts Department (S1924), intends to solicit and contract with The Danby Group (CAGE 1NUT2) of Norcross, GA, on a sole-source basis for Wax Resin Thermal Transfer Ribbons and Custom Thermal Transfer Poly Tags described below. No solicitation will be posted on this website for this requirement. (1) National Stock Number - N/A (2) Specification / Qualification - These Thermal Transfer Ribbons and Tags are specifically designed for use in the Zebra 220iIII Thermal Transfer Printer and no substitute is authorized. The Government physically does not have in its possession sufficient data, or the rights to same data, for the manufacture of these products. Market research and procurement history indicate this sole source for these items. Any source interested in producing these items may contact the persons indicated above to supply test samples and possibly be considered for any future requirements. (3) Manufacturer “ The Danby Group (CAGE 1NUT2) CLIN 0001 “ Wax Resin Ribbon, P/N R-NZ4H-220 (10 Cases). CLIN 0002 “ Thermal Transfer Poly Tags, P/N L-9850-11V (190 Cartons) (4) Destination information- MCLB Albany, GA 31704 (5) Award Procedures “ The Government will solicit a Firm-Fixed-Price contract for commercial supplies with an estimated total under the simplified acquisition threshold. The anticipated award date is 31 August 2010.
