- This is modification 1 to the sources sought synopsis entitled Financial andBusiness Management Services NNJ1133339LA which was posted on July 14, 2010. You arenotified that Virtual Industry Day Charts are now posted.Financial and Business Management Services (FBMS) Virtual Industry Day ChartsNational Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Johnson Space Center (JSC) ishereby requesting firms to view the FBMS Virtual Industry Day Charts athttp://procurement.jsc.nasa.gov/fbms/. One-on-one communication opportunities willbe provided to interested firms. The goals of the Virtual Industry Day are to:1. Promote competition among anticipated 8(a) prime contractors on the proposed FBMSContract.2. Provide industry with an understanding of the Government's current vision andobjectives pertaining to the current contracts.3. Allow NASA/JSC to obtain industry input to improve the FBMS acquisition strategy.Any questions pertaining to the Virtual Industry Day Charts shall be submitted in writingby September 10, 2010 and formal responses will be provided via amendment to thissynopsis. This acquisition is anticipated to be reserved for 8(a) companies.One-on-One communications with IndustryTo facilitate open communications with industry, Government personnel will be availablefor one-on-one meetings either in person or via teleconference on September 8, 2010. TheGovernment encourages industry to take advantage of this opportunity to meet with usone-on-one. Scheduling of these appointment times will be on a first come, first servebasis.An individual company or a group of businesses planning to team or subcontractmay attend the one-on-one meetings; however, each group is limited to five participantsand the meeting will not exceed 25 minutes in length.Please note that formal presentations are not required for oneon-ones and recordingdevices are not permitted.During the one-on-one sessions the Government will only discuss publicly availableinformation such as the general purpose of the current contract(s). Conversations onthe upcoming procurement strategy or speculation on what the Government might be lookingfor in proposals will not be entertained.To schedule your one-on-one appointment, please contact Sylvia Aragon via e-mail at,Sylvia.aragon-1@nasa.gov, no later than Tuesday, August 31, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. CentralTime.Interested Parties ListAn Interested Parties list will be compiled and posted to the FBMS website periodically.
